The eighth annual “I Gave My Sole to Parkinson’s” Walk-a-thons and 5K Runs to benefit the Michigan Parkinson Foundation were held on May 22 at Lakeview High School in St. Clair Shores, and on May 23 at Northville High School in Northville, Michigan.  We are grateful for the tremendous support of Lakeview High School, South Lake Schools and Northville High School.  The presenting sponsor, Taco Bell, led the way to over $87,000 in donations to assist in supporting programs and services of the Michigan Parkinson Foundation.  Many thanks to over 1000 participants – in the rain on Saturday and in sunshine on Sunday – and well over 120 volunteers.
