2011 NIGHT OF A THOUSAND STARS EVENT
line

gala imageThe 2011 Night of A Thousand Stars, held on Saturday, November 5, 2011, was indeed a special evening, raising $25,000 for Michigan Parkinson Foundation.  Thanks to the generosity of Tim Hoy, owner of the Steinway Piano Gallery of Detroit and his staff who hosted the event, the venue sparkled.  200 guests enjoyed the luscious appetizers and desserts, featuring a cream puff tower donated by Sweet Dreams.  Radio personality and Metro You Magazine columnist Linda Lanci graciously hosted this evening. Entertainment was extraordinary, featuring Pierre Fracalanza impressing all with his multimedia Broadway Extravaganza, jazz and dancing with the impeccable Cliff Monear Trio and singer Mark Randisi, classical duo Drs. Ann Chen and Nicolas Tobin on piano and cello, and Carol Sipsock and Joanne Bonds performing a piano duet.  More than 100 silent auction items were up for bid, donated by companies, support groups, and individuals.

We thank all of the volunteers who assisted in organizing this lovely event.
