Living with Parkinson's Series presents Movement, Voice, and Cognition!

Presented by Josefa Domingos and John Dean

Thursday, March 25, 2021, at 1:00 pm

Portuguese Physiotherapist Josefa Domingos and American speech-language pathologist John Dean specialize in the treatment of Parkinson's disease. Since 2011, they have been collaborating on the Triad an approach that combines movement, voice, and cognition, into engaging and challenging exercise. This approach, referred to in research as dual-task exercise allows them to replicate many of the daily challenges faced by people living with Parkinson's. The goal is to address these issues more directly and ultimately, more effectively while keeping the activities fun and engaging. To learn more about their approach, visit their website, www.dualtaskforparkinsons.com.
